Deputy PM Bozidar Djelic met in Belgrade on Friday with Japanese Deputy Foreign Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura. They discussed possibilities of Serbia taking out two loans to finance environmental projects in Belgrade and nearby Obrenovac, it was announced. Talks on Japanese "environmental loans" The value of both projects, Djelic revealed after the meeting, is EUR 400mn. "One is related to removing sulfur from the fumes of the Nikola Tesla power plant in Obrenovac, while the other is aimed at solving waste water problems in Belgrade and other municipalities in Serbia," said the deputy premier.
