The daily further said, citing an unnamed source, that the two sides have already agreed on the acquisition and will ink the deal in March.

The source said that these additions will place the Serbian Army "at the very top, when it comes to the region."

According to this, Serbia will get the V and PG versions of the S-300s, while "the situation with the MiGs is similar to the recent acquisition from Russia, which means Serbia will have to additionally modernize them."

Minsk is prepared to deliver these modern systems to Serbia "under conditions far below the market (price)," the newspaper said.
