Serbian List rally kicks off: Sports Hall in Kosovska Mitrovica adorned in Serbian Tricolor PHOTO/VIDEO

The rally began with the performance of the Serbian national anthem.

The Sports Hall, which can accommodate over 3,000 people, is filled to capacity and decorated in the colors of the Serbian tricolor, along with numerous Serbian List logos. Balloons in the colors of the Serbian flag are also on the stage.

The Serb List is the strongest Serbian party in Kosovo and Metohija and is running in the elections under number 127, with 33 candidates, including prominent professors, doctors, and deans.

The election campaign for the parliamentary elections in Pristina began today and will continue until the polling stations open at 6:59 AM on December 28.

As with the parliamentary elections held on February 9 and the local elections on October 12, Pristina attempted to prevent the participation of the Serb List.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) initially refused to confirm the Serb List’s registration for the elections and later also refused to certify the party’s candidate list. The Serb List then appealed to the Election Panel for Complaints and Appeals, which upheld the appeals and amended the CEC’s decisions.
