Three tons of cannabis seized in Albania
More than three tons of cannabis were seized and seven drug traffickers were arrested in southern Albania in the last 24 hours.

TIRANA More than three tons of cannabis were seized and seven drug traffickers were arrested in southern Albania in the last 24 hours. At least 3,360 kilograms of cannabis were found hidden in tank trucks on Friday night near the Albanian-Greek border. Another 50 kilograms of cannabis were seized in Gjirokastra on Saturday. The drugs were intended for sale in Tirana. Albania is the most important transit country in the Balkans when it comes to drug trafficking. It is also the main marijuana supplier in Europe as of late.
