SNS becomes member of European People's Party
The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has been admitted to the European People's Party (EPP) political group.

BELGRADE The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) has been admitted to the European People's Party (EPP) political group. The SNS was admitted in the EPP’s political group at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) spring sitting in Strasbourg. SNS becomes member of European People's Party EPP Chairman Luca Volonte praised results the SNS has so far achieved and expressed expectation that further efforts would lead to the party’s membership in the EPP in Brussels. According to a release of the Serbian parliament, after the vote SNS representative Aleksandra Djurovic was congratulated and wished successful work in the political group. The EPP consists of European center-right parties and it is the most influential political group in Europe. Its full-fledged members are Christian democratic and conservative parties from the EU member states and Switzerland, Norway, Croatia and Serbia. Tanjug
