Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday that he feels disdain for perpetrators of domestic violence.

"The state will know how to teach them a lesson. We will teach those who think that they are very strong because they beat their wives and children that they are very weak compared to the state and the law," Vucic said.He also announced that he will send a team of lawyers who will see if and how each of the women in the shelter can be helped individually.
Most of the women said that having a source of income - i.e., jobs - would be significant for them.
