Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Čedomir Jovanović has called on the ruling coalition to present a clear plan for northern Kosovo and the EU integration.

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic has called on the ruling coalition to present a clear plan for northern Kosovo and the EU integration. He also called on the government to call the elections. LDP leader requests plan for Kosovo, EU “We want an agreement on the way the campaign will go and a date of the elections,” the LDP leader told a press conference. He pointed out that it was necessary to hold the elections “as soon as tomorrow” if the ruling coalition did not have a plan. “The government should say clearly what the plan for northern Kosovo is and what should be done in order for Serbia to become a candidate for the EU membership in March,” Jovanovic stressed. He noted that the government should consult all political and other relevant factors in the society. The LDP leader said that Democratic Party (DS) leader Boris Tadic and Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader Tomislav Nikolic were “extremely irresponsible”. “Running away or shifting blame is not going to solve any problem. Those who are in power are obligated to solve problems,” he stated.
