PM Mirko Cvetkovic says he will propose November 2 as the date to hold the parliament session on the government's report on the situation in Kosovo-Metohija. Answering questions by MPs in the Serbian parliament on Thursday in Belgrade, Cvetkovic said that the government had adopted the finalized document. Addressing the same issue earlier in the day, DS-led parliamentary group whip Nada Kolundzija stated that a parliament session on the Serbian government report on Kosovo would be scheduled soon. She added that the session would be held after the talks with the opposition were completed. “I don’t know whether the report was formally forwarded to parliament. I expect it to be in parliament today or tomorrow at the latest,” she told reporters, adding that the details would be known after consultations with the opposition. Reflecting on the decision of northern Kosovo Serbs to remove a part of the barricades and thus make it possible for supplies to be delivered to KFOR units, Kolundzija told reporters in the parliament that this served as a proof that both Belgrade and Kosovo Serbs wanted to find solutions by peaceful means. “It is important to avoid any unilateral moves and find solutions to the current situation through a dialogue,” she underscored. Commenting on KFOR's release that the Kosovo Serbs decision constitutes certain, though still insufficient progress, Kolundzija said that this was a process that needed to continue and that everyone needed to preserve peace and refrain from unilateral actions.
