President Boris Tadic will meet with UN mission in Kosovo, UNMIK, chief Lamberto Zannier on Thursday, Tanjug news agency reported. The details of the meeting will be announced in a statement, Tadic's press service said. Tadic to meet with UNMIK chief Thursday In a number of interviews to foreign news agencies, the president announced that in the next few days Serbia would open talks with UNMIK and the UN on the six-point plan "that is of fundamental importance for life in Kosovo", especially in the majority-Serb areas of the province. Serbia late last year accepted to have EULEX deployed in Kosovo after it agreed on the six-point plan with the UN. Kosovo Albanian representatives in Pristina rejected the document.
