Five ex- Iraqi regime top officials, including two Saddam Hussein’s half-brothers, will be executed within a month after being handed over to Iraqi authorities. The Iraqi Justice Ministry has announced that Hussein’s half-brothers Watban Ibrahim Hassan and Sabawi Ibrahim al-Tikriti are among the former top officials who were handed over to Iraqi authorities by the U.S. military. Saddam Hussein's brothers slated for execution Also among the group handed over and slated to be executed were former Defense Minister Sultan Hashem Ahmad and ex-Generals Hussein Rashid al-Tikriti and Aziz Saleh Numan. The five had been sentenced to death in different trials. The former officials were among 206 prisoners who were held by U.S. forces at Camp Cropper near Baghdad airport.
