Rasim Ljajic says the problem of a large number of asylum seekers in Banja Koviljaca will be solved using an abandoned army barracks for their accommodation. The labor minister told chairmen of the nearby Loznica town assembly that a coordinating body of ministers, formed to resolve the issue, will propose five military facilities for their accommodation, Tanjug learned from Assembly President Jovan Todorovic. On the next day, members of the coordinating body should visit the facilities and then suggest the best solution. The meeting with local municipal leaders was held behind closed doors. Todorovic said that Ljajic expressed satisfaction because primary school students who were boycotting classes last week are again attending school. Their parents organized the boycott out of concern for their security. More police and control improved the children's safety, and lead to the decision to end the school boycott caused by the presence of 2,500 asylum seekers in the western Serbian town and spa resort which has 5,500 inhabitants, Todorovic concluded.
