BRUSSELS All non-excise goods up to 3.5 tons intended for northern Kosovo can enter Kosovo duty-free, says Belgrade team head in technical talks Dejan Pavicevic. He noted that this was agreed in Brussels with representatives of Pristina, adding that the agreement would come into effect on Thursday, December 20 at 8:00 CET. He stressed that the Serbian government would suspend the agreement on the integrated crossings management if it was violated and if custom duty was paid for non-excise goods weighing up to 3.5 tons. Pavicevic explained that it was agreed in Brussels that “accompanying documents will only be copied in order to have statistical data” and that it would not cause any problems. He reiterated that the solution was in accordance with Dacic and Thaci’s agreements and that goods intended for northern Kosovo would not undergo any customs procedure.
