The Bujanovac municipal president says his priority will be engaging Albanians in municipal institutions. Comparing the involvement of Albanians and Serbs at local level within state structures such as the judiciary, the police and various inspections, Saip Kamberi said that the “the difference is huge and in the Serbs’ favor, even though there are fewer of them than the Albanians.“ "Albanian engagement in municipal structures lacking" Speaking to regional agency JUGpres, Kamberi reeled off a string of criticisms concerning “the large presence of security forces, as well as of special units and troops in the Presevo Valley.“ “My view on this is completely the same as before. I condemn the presence of these forces, because they paint a picture of instability in the region to investors. When they see how many of them are there, investors don’t want to put their money there, as they think the security situation is bad,“ said Kamberi.
