We also pledge to implement the Ahtisaari document consistently”, Sejdiu said. “Kosovo will be a country of democracy, a country for all its citizens. It will have a special respect for minorities. We are interested in having excellent relations with Serbia too. Our reference points are NATO and the EU,” he added. Thaci said that Kosovo was a “joint success story,” adding that Kosovo would be a democratic country, a land of possibilities for minorities. “Kosovo will have excellent relations with all its neighbors, in a democratic future with Serbia. Kosovo will have a permanent and unbreakable friendship with the U.S,” he pledged. Thaci, Sejdiu, Bush (Beta)
