Former Yugoslav President Zoran Lilic has been allocated an office in the Palace of Serbia, a privilege accorded to all former heads of state, writes Novosti. According to the daily, Lilic's request, which he submitted last September, has finally been approved and he is expected to move into his new quarters soon. "Ex-Yugo president to receive privileges" He is entitled to hire an adviser and secretary under the decision of the President’s General Secretariat. The former president is also entitled to receive a salary of 80 percent of current President Boris Tadic’s salary. As Tadic’s salary, as that of all state officials, has been cut, the same legal restrictions will apply to Lilic.
