EULEX chief meets with Tadic "We had a very a very important meeting here, as we have come to the conclusion that we have many common interests," he told Tanjug. The head of EULEX said that he had conveyed to Tadic his assessment of the current situation in northern Kosovo and Metohija, pointing especially to the "biggest problem faced by EULEX at present - the limited freedom of movement". "It is necessary to allow free movement for EULEX. We must have access to the north and to all the places that are of interest to us and I conveyed the message to the president very strongly, because the freedom of movement is essential for EULEX to be able to act within its mandate to implement the rule of law," Marnhac told Tanjug. A statement issued by the mission late on Wednesday described the meeting as being held "in a cordial atmosphere", focusing on the need to "significantly improve freedom of movement in northern Kosovo".
