8 arrested for stealing oil from NIS

An eight-member crime group was arrested, under suspicion that they stole crude oil from NIS, Serbian police (MUP) Director Milorad Veljović said.

An eight-member crime group was arrested, under suspicion that they stole crude oil from NIS, Serbian police (MUP) Director Milorad Veljovic said. Veljovic specified that the arrests were conducted in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Zrenjanin, and that the group is believed to have organized to steal oil from a NIS pipeline worth “several hundred thousand euros” during the last two years. 8 arrested for stealing oil from NIS Among them are a member of MUP, a NIS worker, and a director of a Belgrade based company.
