The international edition of CNN put EXIT Festival - held in the town of Novi Sad, north of Belgrade - among the world's top summer music festivals. According to the statement of EXIT Fest, the list also includes the British festivals Glastonbury and Bestival, the Danish Roskilde, American Bonnaroo, Pitchfork and Summerfest, as well as Australian Parklife and Japanese Fuji Rock. EXIT "among world's best summer festivals" The article states that EXIT has expanded its roster of rock bands to appeal to an ever-wider spectrum of music fans. "Taking place in the picturesque confines of Petrovaradin Fortress near the Danube River, over 150,000 people will watch Arcade Fire, Pulp and Portishead before raving the night away to dance and electro groups from Underworld and Jamiroquai to Tiga and Magnetic Man," the article reads.
