Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas has laid a wreath at the memorial at the Dragisa Misovic hospital to patients and VJ troops who perished during the NATO bombing. In a statement, the city administration states that the clinical center was struck by a missile on May 20, at 23:50 CET, killing seven soldiers and three patients. 10 years since NATO bombed hospital "Ten people were killed on this day, ten years ago," said Djilas. "Today, we're living in a time when Serbia is trying to become a member of the EU and trying to reset and improve relations with the U.S. for the sake of a better life for future generations, but, for the 2,000 victims and the enormous destruction, it is our duty to forever remember what was done to Serbia during the bombing," said the mayor.
