President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mevlut Cavusoglu says this body is considering potential sanctions against Bosnia-Herzegovina. The reason for this is the country's failure to form government at the state level six months after the election. "CoE mulling sanctions against Bosnia" Claiming he was personally not in favor of sanctions, Cavusoglu told reporters in Banja Luka, RS, that Bosnia-Herzegovina "is isolating itself," given that it has not had any representatives in the bodies of the Council of Europe for a long time. "I regretfully note that there is no Bosnia-Herzegovina parliamentary delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, of which I am president. There are certain consequences in other organizations as well," Cavusoglu said after a meeting with the Serb republic entity's President Milorad Dodik. He expressed hope that a new coalition government would be formed at state level in Bosnia soon, followed by the defining of a clear reform roadmap.
