Montenegrin Foreign Minister Milan Rocen said that Serbia has not submitted any demands to open up Serbian cultural centers in Montenegro. Rocen told Podgorica daily Vijesti that Montenegro has agreed to let Serbia open one consulate in Podgorica, along with the embassy. Montenegrin FM on Serbian cultural centers “As far as cultural centers are concerned, I do not know anything about that, officially. There have been no new initiatives from Serbia, I heard this only in the media,” Rocen said. Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said that Serbia had recently insisted on opening three consulates in Montenegro, adding that if Podgorica does not approve this initiative, Belgrade would ask to open three Serbian cultural centers.
