A policeman was seriously wounded Friday as officers encircled a home where a man was holding his parents hostage. According to a local police spokeswoman, officers arrived at the home in town of Tet after a man, believed to be the hostage-taker, allegedly attacked his former boss at a retirement home, breaking her nose.
