He agreed with the new plan as a framework for continuing talks with the USA, Germany, France and Italy, which, as stated, should ensure a strong security component, but also strengthen the perspective of membership in international organizations, Koha reported.

The Government of the so-called Kosovo also told Koha that Kurti responded positively to the request of the five emissaries for a meeting with European leaders on the sidelines of the European Council summit.

Kurti is expected to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security

On Saturday, the representative of the European Union for the Pristina-Belgrade dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, accompanied by the U.S. Envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, and advisers to the leaders of Germany, France and Italy, visited Pristina and held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti. In the afternoon, they met with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in Belgrade.
