Such meetings involving the three countries are very significant, Vucic said, according to Tanjug.

"We are more stronger together than when we act separately. We could be using this model more often, and act united and together on different issues, and thus, and in that way get incomparably better results for our three countries. We are ready to act together on all the issues of external and internal challenges, in accordance with European principles, European standards," Vucic said.

He added that he was grateful to Tsipras and Borisov for their support to Serbia on the European path, and added that he expects "even stronger support in the coming period."

"We are ready to participate with Greece and Bulgaria in various projects, which are of economic interest for all three countries, but also of political interest to our countries and nations," Vucic said.

He told reporters that the trilateral meeting discussed "numerous infrastructure projects, connecting citizens, business people, and how and in what way we could achieve the best results together."
