Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic met with the President of the Pan-African Parliament (PAP), Roger Nkodo Dang, in Belgrade on Thursday.

Nikolic receives Pan-African Parliament president

Nikolic and Dang agreed that the traditional friendship, once developed by African nations with Yugoslavia and now also with Serbia, was a great foundation for establishing strong economic cooperation.

Serbia's EU integration path is not keeping it from establishing full cooperation with all countries able to identify a common interest therein, Nikolic said.

Dang noted that African nations were supporting Serbia's territorial integrity as anything else would be contrary to the principles of international law and establish precedents that would be very dangerous for many African states.
