Election silence once again in force in Serbia

During election silence, campaigning and "sending of political messages" is forbidden, the Beta agency reported.

The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) said that preliminary results from these polling stations - in Nis, Vranje, Belgrade, Jagodina, Backa Topola, Sremski Karlovci, Uzice, and Kladovo- are expected "on Wednesday night."

19,631 voters are eligible to cast their ballots there. RIK will print 0.5 percent of "reserve ballots" bringing the total number printed to 19,729.

As was the case on April 24, 20 electoral lists are competing in repeated elections.
