"Seat of special court for KLA crimes to be in Pristina"

The court should deal with war crimes committed by leaders and members of the ethnic Albanian so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).

According to Koha Ditore although the court would be situated in Pristina, protected witnesses will be giving their testimonies in The Hague.

The deal was reached during a visit by Kosovo government officials to the Netherlands last week, Tanjug is reporting, quoting RTS, adding that it will soon be debated by the Kosovo government, and then in assembly.

Koha Ditore cited Ardian Arifaj, advisor to the Kosovo deputy prime minister and foreign minister, as saying that he had nothing to say about a location for the seat of the special court and that it was a question for the Dutch government.
