Nevertheless, employees in almost all ministries, government services and institutions and representatives of the civilian society will be included in the task, she added.She underscored that it is difficult to draw an assessment as to the costs of the negotiations for the country, and added that the expenses would in any case be minimal compared to the benefits the country would derive from aligning its system and society with European standards.
According to Novosti, over 600 people will be employed for purposes of chapter opening and they will be divided into 35 groups to match the number of chapters, and the number of people directly or indirectly participating in the process will exceed several thousand over time.
The government allocated over EUR 5 million for all European affairs last year and a similar sum has been proposed for this year as well, the Belgrade daily states
