Vučić said that he expected "no problems whatsoever" and that he was "only interested in seeing which of the Serbian political parties will win in Kosovo as everything else has been regulated."

Vučić said that the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština would continue and that "talks are always the best option."

He stressed that “strange things are happening in the internal relations within the Albanian community” but he "does not want the framework for talks to get narrower."

Vučić also stated that he hopes that "someone will understand that keeping Oliver Ivanović in custody makes absolutely no sense."

His statements came a day after Edita Tahiri, a negotiator of the Priština authorities in the Kosovo dialogue, said that Serbia "cannot organize elections in Kosovo as the Brussels agreement marked the end of Serbia's interference in Kosovo's internal affairs."

She then noted that "Kosovo's constitution guarantees right to dual citizenship, which allows Kosovo Serbs to vote, but only via the technical modalities enabled by the OSCE mission."

According to media reports in Priština, OSCE officials said they did not yet receive an official invitation "to facilitate the voting process on March 16."
