BELGRADE The Serbian Inspectorate of Education has announced that it will investigate all media allegations regarding PM Ivica Dacic's advisor Ivica Toncev. According to reports, Toncev holds a falsified Pristina University degree. PM's advisor "forged university degree" Education Minister Zarko Obradovic commented on the situation to say that Serbia had "a very small number of education sector inspectors", and specified that 425 people were employed for this purpose. "We have our plan of activities, we react to all complaints filed by citizens, and after the inspection carries out its checks we will know the results, in other words, we will know if the diploma was a forgery," Obradovic, an official of Dacic's SPS party, stated on Monday. Some media have reported that Tocev, who advises the prime minister on national security matters, obtained his diploma "in a suspicious manner". Belgrade-based daily Blic said last week that it had a copy of the document, allegedly issued by the Faculty of Construction in Pristina, that contained the signature of Dean Slobodan Barac. However, Barac told the newspaper he was never employed by the faculty in question. (sxc.hu, stock) Tanjug
