NIS Serbian Army (VS) Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic met Tuesday in Nis with KFOR Commander Major General Erhard Drews. They discussed the security situation in Kosovo. Serbian Army chief meets with KFOR commander Dikovic and Drews also discussed the security situation along the administrative line, the Serbian Army has announced. The high-level meeting of the Joint Commission for Implementation of the Military Technical Agreement was also an opportunity for Dikovic and Drews to mutually acknowledge the professional and correct cooperation, as Drews’ term as commander of KFOR will end in September. The Joint Committee for Implementation of Military Technical Agreement comprises commissions of the command of international forces in Kosovo and of representatives of Serbian security forces. The Joint Commission meetings have been held regularly at various levels since 1999 to implement the Military Technical Agreement, it was published on the website of the Serbian Army.
