DS deputy leader denies he will form new party

BELGRADE Democratic Party (DS) deputy leader and Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas has denied he is forming a new party. He also denied allegations that former DS official Goran Vesic was tasked with drafting a program and strategy for the new party. DS deputy leader denies he will form new party “Claims that Goran Vesic has been tasked with writing program principles and strategy for the public actions of the party that I will allegedly found are not true. It is also not true that, as you claim, Goran Vesic would be my right hand man and the party’s deputy leader,” Djilas denied daily Danas’ allegations. “It is untrue because I am not making any party so there is no need for any program. There is also no need for deputy leaders,” he added. Vesic also denied the information. “Like you wrote nicely in the article, I have not been actively involved in politics since 2003 and I am a businessman now. Vesić also denied the information.
