BELGRADE Bills on the government and ministries - without which a government cannot be formed - will be completed by the end of next week, it has been announced. They will be adopted in parliament on July 24, Momo Colakovic, official of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) and part of the team preparing the bills, said on Sunday. "Bill on government to pass by end of next week" Colakovic told Tanjug that the bills were being prepared, but that some details would be worked out after prime minister-elect Ivica Dacic met with Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM) leader Istvan Pastor on Monday. "After Dacic meets with Pastor, there will be talks about the concept of different ministries and final agreements on what will go to the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and what to the Serb Progressive Party (SNS)," after which the working group will harmonize the text of the bill, explained Colakovic. He believes the SNS and the SPS will sit down on Monday or Tuesday at the latest, by which time the outcome of the talks with Pastor and Social Democratic Party of Serbia (SDPS) leader Rasim Ljajic will also be known. The team working on the bills consists of Jorgovanka Tabakovic (SNS), Zarko Obradovic (SPS), Verica Kalanovic (United Regions of Serbia), Petar Petrovic (United Serbia), and Momo Colakovic (PUPS). The new government will have 17 members and 15 ministries - eight held by the SNS, five by the coalition around the SPS and two by the URS. (Tanjug) Tanjug
