The 20th Anniversary Summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) is being held on Tuesday in Istanbul, Turkey. The gathering is presided by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic and Turkish President Abdullah Gul. President co-chairs BSEC Summit in Turkey The summit will be dedicated to 20th anniversary of the BSEC, over which Serbia has presided from January 1 to July 1, when Turkey is to take over. BSEC member states are Serbia's important trading partners. According to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) data, Serbia's trade with these countries amounted to USD 7.9 billion in 2011. The BSEC comprises 12 member states- Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Armenia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine. Austria, Belarus, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Israel, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Tunisia and the U.S are observer-states in the organization. The former State Union of Serbia and Montenegro became a BSEC member state in April 2004. After Montenegro declared independence, Serbia remained a member of the organization. Tanjug
