Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) repeated on Sunday that it wanted to win the upcoming elections and remove the ruling parties from power. The Progressives assessed that the ruling powers were a “unique collectivity”. Political mafia running Serbia, Progressives say “SNS wants a change in the next elections and replacement of a political class that is made of all ruling parties that have greatly sinned when it comes to the Serbian citizens’ interests, not only in the last four but in the last 20 years,” SNS official Marko Djuric said. “Parties of the ruling coalition are our political competition,” he said commenting on Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic’s statement that an atmosphere was being created in which the only possible coalition would be between the SNS and the Democratic Party (DS). “Dacic is a part of the government we want to replace,” Djuric stressed and added that it was therefore natural that the SPS leader wanted to prevent the changes in Serbia. The SNS official said that the government had “paralyzed” Serbia with a poor tax policy and bureaucratic procedures, causing 40,000 companies to go bankrupt, adding that the citizens’ standard of living had been dropping for the last 42 months. He noted that a “political mafia” was running Serbia and that members of the mafia had become rich thanks to the “most devastating privatizations in Eastern Europe”. Tanjug
