Serbia “needs to show European potential”

Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) leader Cedomir Jovanovic said on Sunday that Serbia needed to show its full European potential until December 9. The Council of the European Union should make its final decision regarding Serbia’s EU candidate status on December 9. He stressed that Serbia needed reforms in all segments, especially regarding its policy toward Kosovo, adding that a right solution was the Ahtisaari plan. The LDP leader pointed out that his party would talk to all members of the society in order to implement comprehensive reforms and to convince the Serbian society and the entire world that Serbia was “not a lost country”.
