The opposition Serb Progressive Party (SNS) is concerned that the country's European integrations. The party also worries about economic aid and donations that might be halted due to Serbia's hastened resolution on Kosovo, it was heard in Belgrade on Friday. "Resolution might lead to Serbia-EU conflict" SNS official Nemanja Stevanvic told a news conference that the resolution was prematurely forwarded to the UN without consultations with the international community. "The resolution's content, such as it is, might bring the country into jeopardy of getting into confrontation with the most important EU member states," said Stevanovic, who was holding the position of the Serbian deputy consul in New York from 2005-2007. Another party official, Marko Djuric stated that "his party" will "under no circumstances, explicitly or implicitly, recognize Kosovo's independence".
