Dusan Elezovic said he believes the pro-EU parties in Vojvodina will increase their lead over the Radicals in the second round of provincial elections. The Democratic Party (DS) official told B92 that Vojvodina had shown in Sunday’s elections that it was a European region where people aspired to a better life, and that this would be a big commitment for the DS. DS confident of second round victory in Vojvodina Elezovic said that the people of Vojvodina had chosen a European future for Serbia and Vojvodina in the republic, provincial and local elections. Unlike the rest of Serbia, a second round of voting for the provincial parliament awaits Vojvodina citizens on May 25, when 60 councilors will be elected to the Vojvodina assembly using the first-past-the-post system.

Elezović said that the people of Vojvodina had chosen a European future for Serbia and Vojvodina in the republic, provincial and local elections.
