Kraljevo Wagon Factory plans to export 915 wagons to Germany worth a total of EUR 45mn, the company’s director said on Tuesday. Bosko Slavkovic added that he expected permission from Germany within 15 days to start with the delivery of the train and freight wagons, stressing that the Kraljevo-based factory had launched the production of a larger series for the first time in 15 years. Serbia exports wagons to Germany The factory, whose majority owner is Ukraine’s Asov-Ompex, owns DIN EN ISO 384-3 and 6700-2 certificates, guaranteeing the standards and quality of its products. “Besides our other programs, we have decided to re-launch production of freight wagons, for which there is an increasing demand in the European market,” Slavkovic said.
