The national employment service announced that the government has allocated EUR 2.8mn for public works. According to the statement, the competition was opened on July 30, and applications may be submitted by two deadlines: September 10 and October 10 of this year. EUR 2.8mn allocated for public works State bodies, local self-government, public institutions and companies, contractors, business organizations, NGOs, cooperatives, and citizens’ associations are all entitled to participate. Workers employed in this way will receive the monthly minimum wage. Unqualified workers will receive extra for taxes and contributions; those with high-school education will receive an additional 15 percent; those with higher education 30 percent, and those with professional qualifications 45 percent.
