Brawl, explosion in northern Kosovo

A hand grenade was thrown on the streets of Zvecan after a massive brawl broke out, though no one was injured in the explosion. Kosovo Police spokesperson Besim Hoti said that two persons were injured in the fight and that two civilian vehicles were also damaged in the brawl. What is most important is that no one was injured,” Hoti said. The explosion occurred right after the brawl, in which about 100 people from Kosovska Mitrovica and Zvecan participated. “There were no arrests made, this will probably be done after the investigation, since the participators in the fight are known to police. There was not enough police officers to arrest that many people at once,” Hoti said. According to police information, the brawl and the explosion are not linked. Both incidents are being investigated by the local police with the assistance of regional officers.
