The Hague Tribunal has partially accepted Radovan Karadzic's request to postpone his trial. The trial will resume in two weeks' time, in order to give Karadzic time to review conversations recorded by Ratko Mladic, that have recently been admitted into evidence. Karadzic given two weeks to prepare Karadzic and Mladic, wartime political and military leaders of Serbs in Bosnia, have both been accused of committing genocide and war crimes by the tribunal. Mladic is still at large. Karadzic originally asked the court to call a three-week recess in order to allow him to study the audio and video tapes, seized by Serbian police earlier this year in the Belgrade apartment of Mladic's wife. The prosecution opposed the request for the postponement of the trial. A file photo of Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic (FoNet)
