Novi Sad's Criminal Investigations Police officers have three men in custody today, whom they suspect of robbed five post offices. Nikola G., 22, of Kosovska Mitrovica, Danijel O., 22, and Petar B., 21, of Novi Sad, are suspected of taking a total of RSD 3mn. 3 arrested over post office heists The police in Novi Sad have told the local media that the three were arrested as they prepared yet another robbery on Friday afternoon. The trio will also be charged with illegal possession of weapons. Policemen found two pistols on them during the arrest, while an AK-47 and Thompson automatic rifles were seized in an apartment they had rented. Police also said that they worked on the case "for months", and that they had the three under "intensified surveillance" for the past three weeks.
