International representatives informed Serbia of Operation Storm two days in advance, claims former JNA counter-intelligence operative Slobodan Lazarevic. International representatives knew when the operation would start after receiving official notification from Croatia, said Lazarevic during his second day on the witness stand in the trial of three Croatian generals, writes Zagreb daily Jutarnji List. Witness: Serbia knew about Storm Lazarevic, a defense witness of General Ante Gotovina, said that Bert Jensen, a Danish member of the European observer mission, had passed on information of the plans for Storm to him. “He gave me the time of the attack, directions and forces,” said the witness, who, during Storm, was a communications officer of the 21st Corps of Martic’s army, the daily states.
