Serbian police (MUP) officers in Belgrade on Saturday arrested three persons and confiscated 10 kilograms of heroin. The three are suspected of producing and trafficking the narcotic. Milan M. is believed to have been buying large quantities of heroin from Bulgaria, to then resell it in the Serbian capital. MUP reported that its officers, while searching two locations in the Grocka suburb, also found 400 grams of cocaine, three pistols, a revolver and equipment used to mix and pack the drugs. The street value of the narcotics seized on Saturday is estimated at EUR 240,000.
