MUP officers have found the body of a murder victim whose severed head was discovered on a Belgrade sidewalk earlier this week. MUP Belgrade Criminal Department chief Darko Senic confirmed the news this afternoon, and said that the missing remains of the victim, identified as Smail Tairovic, 27, of Mali Zvornik, were found in the Karadjordjev Park in the capital. Earlier on Saturday, Public Prosecution spokesman Tomo Zoric said that four persons were detained as suspects in connection to the murder. Zoric specified that the arrests came in an operation coordinated by MUP and the Prosecution. Police said yesterday they had identified the victim, whose head was found on a Belgrade sidewalk two days ago. Zoric said that the case will be solved "very quickly", revealing no other details.
