A powerful blast was heard in northern Kosovska Mitrovica around 22:30 CET last night. The news about the incident that left no one injured was confirmed for B92 by a local Kosovo police, KPS, spokesman. Explosion rocks Kosovska Mitrovica But the KPS said they had "no information as to where the explosion occurred." Sveto Jovanovic, a Serb from the northern, mostly Serb part of the divided town, told B92 that he "saw flames" in his yard after he heard the blast. His property borders with a building housing the local headquarters for a planned EU mission to Kosovo.
