Development Fund grants RSD 181.5 million

The Fund has granted 16 reprograms for companies that have encountered problems in business operations and loan repayment. A total of 17 long-term loans amounting to RSD 88, 510,000 have been given to companies in flooded areas, the Ministry of Economy stated.

In order to continue its support to business entities, the Serbian government allocated RSD 5 billion over the summer for corporate lending programs in 2014, and one billion dinars for companies in the flood-affected areas.

The funds are intended for the Serbian economy and they can be used for activities aimed at business promotion and employment boost, reconstruction of existing and construction of new facilities, production modernization by introducing new equipment, providing working capital, incentives for beginners in business and the unemployed turning to entrepreneurship.

The Development Fund loans are granted at very favorable interest rates and long reimbursement periods.
