National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Dejan Šoškić has said the annual inflation rate will continue to drop in the months to come.

National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Dejan Soskic has said the annual inflation rate will continue to drop in the months to come. He explained that the inflation rate would continue to drop because of the statistical effect of the growth of the inflation's base value, since the inflation was high during those months in 2010. Annual inflation rate to drop further, NBS governor says "I will remind you that the 2011 September inflation is already in the single-digit range compared to the same period last year, 9.3 percent at the annual level, and it was negative in the previous three months, 0.4 percent," the governor told daily Vecernje novosti.
