The Monetary Board of the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) decided today to keep the reference interest rate at 15.75 percent. The NBS said in a statement issued in Belgrade Thursday that the decision came following a review of economic developments. Central bank keeps key rate unchanged The Monetary Board last hiked the key policy rate on May 29, to 15.75 from 15.25 percent. The move came in order to keep the base inflation within the projected three to six percent, the NBS explained at the time.
